Dubai Run: Significant Road Closure Announced by RTA on Sunday

In anticipation of Sunday, November 26, the Dubai Run, the city's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has temporarily restricted automobile traffic. The area of Sheikh Zayed traffic is going to be heavily affected.

Dubai Run Leads to Temporary Road Closures on Sheikh Zayed Road

To ensure the safety and seamless participation of runners, several roads in the vicinity of the event will undergo temporary closures. Sheikh Zayed Road, specifically the section between the Trade Center Roundabout and the second intersection, will be closed off.

On top of that, there will be a temporary closure of Lower Financial Center Road, which goes from Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Khail Road, as well as Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard (in one direction only) and Al Sukook Street.

Closure Duration and Alternative Routes

On the day of the Dubai Run, the roads will be closed from 3:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Drivers should be mindful of these closures and make alternate plans for their trips during this time. Drivers can follow the signage to their destinations, although they are advised to take alternate roads such as Upper Financial Center Road, Zaa'beel Palace Street, Al Wasl Road, or Al Khail Road.
