UAE unveils New railway services in Abu Dhabi
Etihad Rail, the UAE National Rail Network's originator and operator, and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) have come to terms on the launch of rail services from Abu Dhabi City to Al Dhannah in Al Dhafra.
Etihad Rail and Adnoc Agreement for Railway Services
The ambitious railway project is set to link the busy metropolis of Abu Dhabi with the outlying village of Al Dhannah, which is located about 250 kilometers west of the capital. The 1970s were a watershed moment for the 29,000 people who called Al Dhannah home; the region had been designated as the industrial personnel housing for Adnoc.
Enhanced Connectivity for Adnoc Employees
As part of this collaboration, Adnoc employees will benefit from the convenience of railway services, enabling seamless travel between Abu Dhabi and Al Dhannah in the near future.
