UAE: more trips and new bus routes announced in Abu Dhabi
To boost connection, the Capital's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has improved bus services.
A number of improvements and modifications to the public bus services have been announced by the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi. The authority claims that the upgrades will lead to increased connection throughout the city.
The modifications and new offerings that ITC is putting into place are as follows:
There are currently fewer pauses on routes that connect heavily populated districts with central Abu Dhabi, resulting in speedier travel.
- To improve accessibility for tourists and visitors to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a new route has been established.
- There are now new direct bus services available from 4 a.m. until midnight.
- There have been streamlined routes in Al Samha, Al Rahba, Al Shahama, and Al Bahia.
- There are now better bus services available in Baniyas' transportation system.
- There is now more frequent service between Khalifa City and downtown Abu Dhabi.
