Fujairah Ruler Grants Pardon to Over 100 Prisoners Ahead of UAE National Day

Before the UAE National Day, the Ruler of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, showed compassion by pardoning over a hundred inmates, giving them the chance to start over.

Sheikh Hamad's Decree

During the course of Wednesday, a proclamation was issued by Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah and Member of the Supreme Council, ordering the release of 113 convicts of varied nationalities. It was a sign of faith in the inmates' capacity for good transformation and rehabilitation because their good character and behavior were the foundational criteria for this pardon.
