UAE: Participants in Dubai Ride receive free bikes

The public can access the Dubai Ride routes at 6.15 a.m., and cyclists will begin riding at 6.30 a.m. and finish at 7.30 a.m.

Residents and visitors who want to take part in the Dubai Ride cycling event but don't have their own bikes can get free bikes from Careem Bike and Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

On a first-come, first-served basis, participants can pick up their complimentary bikes from Careem's bike docking stations at Entrance A, Museum of the Future (MOTF), Trade Centre Street, and Entrance E, Lower FCS, Financial Centre Road, adjacent to Roda Al Murooj Building A.

Additionally, attendees can subscribe to and rent a Careem bike from any of the 192 stations located across Dubai. During the event, extra fees for rides exceeding 45 minutes will be waived. Through this project, RTA's relationship with Careem will be strengthened, and people without bikes will find it easier to access Dubai Ride.

Participants can download the Careem app, select the "Bike" button, and subscribe to the "Dubai Ride Pass" set at Dh00.00 on November 12 starting from 2am until 7.30am to pick up a free bike ride for Dubai Ride.

The 192 Careem Bike docking stations and the two pop-up stations by the MOTF and lower FCS entrances A and E are where participants may pick up their bikes. To utilize the bikes and register on the Dubai Ride website, each participant must have their own helmet.

In addition, as a security precaution, they must input their credit card information; nevertheless, they won't be charged for the bikes they're borrowing.
